As research business director, Lydia Castillo is responsible for all pre- and post-award clinical trial budgeting activities, including Medicare coverage analysis (MCA), to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. Castillo leads research billing compliance efforts, safeguarding adherence to federal guidelines and institutional policies. Additionally, she serves as the primary business stakeholder for the implementation of the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), guiding its alignment with organizational goals, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening financial transparency across the clinical research enterprise.
