Teresa Gonzalez is an experienced contract manager and transactional attorney specializing in federal grant compliance, contract negotiation, and grant oversight. As the Contract Manager at Nova Southeastern University’s Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), she oversees the review and negotiation of sponsored agreements with the Associate Counsel for the Division of Research, ensuring compliance with both federal and private sponsor requirements while protecting the university’s interests.
Previously, she served as the first Grant Compliance Officer at Miami Dade College, where she developed processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. As a recognized expert in her field, Teresa has presented at both national and regional conferences, sharing her insights on grant compliance and undergraduate research.
Teresa earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law and is licensed to practice in Florida. She is passionate about mentoring young girls and serves as a troop leader for her daughter's Girl Scout troop. In her free time, she enjoys reading and practicing Pilates.
