Junko Kazumi, Ph.D.

As the Director of Technology Transfer, I oversee intellectual property generated from research activities conducted by NSU faculty and employees. The end goal is to translate NSU inventions that can be of benefit to people and the environment. I have over 15 years of experience in university technology transfer and have managed a number of complex patent portfolios that have been licensed out to companies. I have served as a judge for competitions held by the USPTO (Patents for Humanity) and the National Inventors Hall of Fame (Collegiate Inventors Competition).
