Erin Kimak, M.Sc.

I am a graduate of the Master's of Marine Science track in the Halmos College of Arts and Science, having earned my degree in 2021. Several months after defending, I joined the Office of Sponsored Programs as the Grants Coordinator. I have since been promoted several times to my current role of Senior Grant Officer. In this position, I assist Principal Investigators develop proposals for grants and other sponsored programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, sponsor, and university policies. When investigators receive funding, I set up the award internally, create their internal budget, and ensure that they remain compliant with relevant regulations by overseeing expenditures and submitting reports and other deliverables in a timely manner.
