Janice Roldan serves as the Research Compliance Manager at Nova Southeastern University, where she has been a part of the research administration team since December 2011. She oversees institutional research activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and university regulations, ethical standards, and funding agency requirements, fostering responsible conduct of research. She is responsible for the administration of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), Financial Conflicts of Interest (FCOI) committee, as well as having oversight of the university’s research misconduct policy. She reports directly to Dr. Gary Margules, Vice President of Research, and supports NSU’s commitment to ethical and compliant research practices.
