| Having worked in the NSU Office of Sponsored Programs since January 2006, with over
20 years of experience in higher education and research administration, Ashley brings
a deep commitment to supporting academic research and institutional compliance. As
Director of Sponsored Programs, Ashley leads initiatives that streamline pre- and
post-award processes, enhance internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance
across the research enterprise. Holding a Doctorate in Higher Education and Organizational Leadership and a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) credential, Ashley is passionate about empowering faculty and staff through training, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving. Her background spans policy development, electronic research administration systems, and sponsored program oversight, making her a trusted resource for both internal stakeholders and external partners. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys contributing to the academic community through national presentations and volunteer leadership roles. |
